“Ghona El Qahira” presented Music and Songs from Youssef Chahine’s Films at the Cairo Opera House

The Cairo Opera House hosted a distinguished evening titled “Ghona El Qahira” , dedicated to exploring music and songs featured in the films of the late director Youssef Chahine.

The event was presented as part of the Opera House’s cultural and intellectual program and took place at the Small Hall on Wednesday, 20 May 2026, at 7:30 p.m.

The program also included live artistic performances presented by A’azz El Nas Music and Singing Ensemble, adding a rich musical atmosphere inspired by memorable works from Egyptian cinema.
