Classics of Tarab at Arab Music Institute

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, is organizing a concert by the Heritage Arab Music Ensemble, conducted by Maestro Mohamed El Mogy, at the Arab Music Institute on Friday, 19 April 2024 at 8 p.m.
The concert’s program includes selections from the classics of Arab Tarab composed by prominent composers. Songs are featured by Angham Moustafa, Radwa Saeed, Hanan El Kholy, Asmaa Kamal, Ahmed El Waziri, Mohie Salah, Ahmed Sabry, and Yasser Soliman.
The Heritage Arab Music Ensemble was founded to revive the Arab music heritage, a purely Egyptian legacy that was produced by a number of great musicians through successive generations. Members of the Heritage Arab Music Ensemble are selected from the most skilled musicians and distinguished voices of heritage keepers. Notably, the Ensemble performed its first concert at the Arab Music Institute in 2004.
