Cairo Symphony Orchestra "Arab Perspectives" at the Cairo Opera House

As part of the Ramadan cultural program organized by the Cairo Opera House, headed by Dr. Alaa Abdel Salam, two concerts will take place on the evening of Saturday, 28 February 2026.

At the Main Hall at 9:30 p.m., the Cairo Symphony Orchestra, under the artistic supervision of its principal conductor Maestro Ahmed El Saedi, will present the second concert of the "Arab Perspectives" series . Conducted by Maestro Mohamed Sharara, the performance features a curated selection of Arabic compositions that masterfully blend Oriental melodic scales with Western classical forms, showcasing the richness of modern Arab symphonic music.

Simultaneously, the "Basma" Religious Chanting Ensemble, conducted by artist Ahmed Hassan, will perform at the Small Theatre. The program includes a diverse range of spiritual works and religious supplications.
