Aeaz El Nas Ensemble at Summer Festival*

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, continues its Summer Festival with a concert by Aeaz El Nas Ensemble at the Open Air Theatre on Friday, 26 July 2024 at 8:30 p.m.
Conducted by Maestro Maged Sorour, the concert’s program features a variety of traditional and contemporary songs.
Aeaz El Nas Ensemble is known for performing a diverse range of musical styles, blending traditional and modern musical arrangements. Founded by its artistic director, Dr. Sameh Abdel Aziz, in 1998, the Ensemble consisted initially of students from the Ain Shams University Choir. Later, Maestro Maged Sorour took over leadership, playing a vital role in reviving and promoting the charm of traditional Arab music. The Ensemble also aims to foster young talents who perform works by great artists like Umm Kulthum, Abdel Halim Hafez, Warda, Shadia, and Fairouz, among others, setting them on the path to success and fame.
The Summer Festival organized by the Cairo Opera House is an engaging and diverse artistic experience that runs from 18 July to 10 August 2024 in Cairo, Alexandria and Damanhour. By featuring an array of mesmerizing concerts, the festival attendees encounter captivating moments and exhilarating entertainment.
