Under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, the Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Alaa Abdel Salam, continues “100 Years of Singing” concert series in collaboration with the Egyptian star, Ali El Haggar at the Main Hall on Thursday, 4 September 2025 at 9 p.m.
Directed by Mahdy El Sayed, the sixth episode pays tribute to the great Egyptian poet Abdel Rahman El Abnoudi featuring guest stars Yasser Suleiman, Mariam Hani, Habiba Hatem, and Ahmed Suleiman, accompanied by the orchestra under the baton of Maestro Wagdy El Fawy.
During the evening, Abdel Rahman El Abnoudi's most celebrated lyric poems, in which he worked together with major Arab composers and singers, are revived on stage. Noteworthy, these songs are part of the renowned Egyptian and Arab music legacy.
