The Cairo Opera House Theatres
The National Cultural Centre is proud of
its theatres which are equipped with the
most advanced facilities not only in the
Middle East but in the whole of the
African continent.
Consequently, the main focus is on
opening up new prospects in the region
by introducing cultures and arts from
all over the world to its audiences and
improving the efficiency of its
performing companies. These are the
Cairo Symphony Orchestra with its A
Cappella Choir, the Cairo Opera Ballet
Company, the Cairo Opera Orchestra, the
Cairo Opera Company, the Cairo Opera
Choir, the Modern Dance Theatre Company,
the Religious Song Ensemble, the Abdel
Halim Nowera Ensemble for Arab Music,
the National Arab Music Ensemble, the
Heritage Ensemble for Arab Music, and
the Cairo Opera Children’s Choir.
The National Cultural Centre
includes seven theatres:

Additionally, there are teaching and
rehearsal spaces, dressing rooms, an art
gallery, a music library, a decoration
workshop, a museum, VIP halls and a
restaurant.
