“Zay El Hawa” at Cairo Opera House

Among the diverse activities organized by the Ministry of Culture, the Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamia Zayed, hosts a concert by the modern music ensemble Zay El Hawa. The event features Dr. Mohamed Morsi as conductor, with artistic supervision by Dr. Hisham Nabawi, direction by Mohamed Shalaby, and artistic vision and general supervision by Dr. Sameh Abdel Aziz. The concert takes place at the Small Hall on Thursday, 30 January 2025 at 8 p.m.
The event includes a distinguished lineup of creative pioneers, including musician Hany Shenouda, composer Moudy El Imam, and Mervat El Qafas, the widow of the late composer Ammar El Sherei. The program offers a journey through musical works from the 1980s and beyond, featuring drama series soundtracks and pieces from Egyptian folk art.
