Yalla Neghanny by Arab Takht Ensemble at Open Air Theatre

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, hosts a concert titled “Yalla Neghanny” by the Arab Takht Ensemble, conducted by Dr. Yasser Moawad, at the Open Air Theatre on Sunday, 22 September 2024 at 8:30 p.m.
The concert’s program features masterpieces from the Golden Age of Arab music.
Since its establishment, the Arab Takht Ensemble presents classical Arab takht music and songs. Assembling a number of skilled musicians and singers, the Ensemble occupies a significant place in the international music scene holding successful concerts worldwide. The Arab Takht Ensemble participated in numerous international festivals and has won international awards including the Creativity Award at the Music and Singing Festival in Turkey (Istanbul, 2010). In 2023, the Ensemble was awarded by the Government of the People’s Republic of China for its notable role in “Raising Arab Cultural Awareness”.
