Umm Kulthum’s Night at Cairo Opera House

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Khaled Daghr, presents a special evening featuring a number of Umm Kulthum’s songs at the Main Hall on Friday, 15 December at 8 p.m.
Conducted by Maestro Selim Sahab and performed by May Farouk, the concert includes iconic pieces from Umm Kulthum’s immense repertoire such as “Alf Leila we Leila” by Baligh Hamdi, “Amal Hayati” by Mohamed Abdel Wahab, and “Hagartak” by Riad El-Sunbati.
The Cairo Opera House is dedicated to preserving the Arab musical heritage and providing access to this rich legacy through performances that celebrate musical legends like Umm Kulthum who has mesmerized Arab audiences from the Arabian Gulf to the Atlantic Ocean for half a century.
