Tarab Songs by Heritage Arab Music Ensemble at Arab Music Institute

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamia Zayed, hosts a concert by the Heritage Arab Music Ensemble, conducted by Maestro Farouk El Bably, at the Arab Music Institute on Tuesday, 24 December 2024 at 8 p.m.
The concert’s program includes a selection of Muwashahat, and Arab Tarab songs featured by Ahmed El Weziri, Reem Hamdy, Hanan El Khouly, Mohamed Shawky, Mohie Salah, Asmaa Kamal, Yasser Soliman, and Noha Hafez.
The Heritage Arab Music Ensemble was founded to revive the Arab music heritage, a purely Egyptian legacy that was produced by a number of great musicians through successive generations. Members of the Heritage Arab Music Ensemble are selected from the most skilled musicians and distinguished voices of heritage keepers. Notably, the Ensemble performed its first concert at the Arab Music Institute in 2004.
