Sherif Mounir Brings “Nostalgia” to the Cairo Opera House Summer Festival

The Cairo Opera House Summer Festival for Music and Singing, held under the supervision of Dr. Reda El-Wakil throughout July and August, continues to celebrate the diversity and richness of artistic expression. Among the festival’s highlights was a special appearance by acclaimed actor and musician Sherif Mounir and his band, Nostalgia, who took to the Open-Air Theatre of the Cairo Opera House for the first time, performing before a large and enthusiastic audience.

In a concert shaped by memory, emotion, and the enduring power of music, Sherif Mounir presented a distinctive Nostalgia experience, bringing together an evocative selection of film scores from the golden repertoire of Egyptian cinema alongside celebrated works from Arab and Western musical traditions.
