Mozart’s Works by Alexandria Opera House String Orchestra

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamia Zayed, organizes two concerts by the Alexandria Opera House String Orchestra titled "Mozart’s Compositions", conducted by Maestro Osman El Mahdy, the first at Alexandria Opera House “Sayed Darwish Theatre“ on Friday, 17 January 2025, at 8 p.m., and the second at Damanhour Opera House on Saturday, 18 January 2025, at 8 p.m.
The concert’s program features works by the world-renowned composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, including Divertimento in C Major for String Orchestra, Divertimento in F Major for String Orchestra, Divertimento in D Major for String Orchestra, in addition to Rondo from the Haffner Serenade for Violin and Orchestra by Mozart and Fritz Kreisler.
The Alexandria Opera House String Orchestra was officially founded by Dr. Nevine El Mahmoudy and gave many successful concerts throughout Egypt. Noteworthy, the Orchestra participated in several national and international festivals which were held within the framework of the cultural cooperation between Egypt and countries all over the world.
