Masterpieces of Tarab by Reham Abdel Hakim

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, is hosting a concert by Abdel Halim Nowera Ensemble for Arab Music, conducted by Maestro Ahmed Amer, at the Main Hall on Friday, 24 May at 8:30 p.m.
The concert’s program features masterpieces of tarab performed by Hossam Hosni, Agfan, Moamen Khalil and the Arab singing star, Reham Abdel Hakim.
Founded in 1967 by Maestro Abdel Halim Nowera, the Ensemble’s mission is to revive the authentic musical heritage, presenting various traditional vocal and musical forms. Throughout its artistic journey, the Ensemble has provided opportunities for contemporary music composers to present their excellent work within traditional frameworks.
