Masterpieces of Arab Music by Alexandria Opera Ensemble for Music & Arab Singing

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, hosts a concert titled "Masterpieces of Arab Music" by the Alexandria Opera Ensemble for Music & Arab Singing, conducted by Maestro Dr. Alaa Abdel Salam, at Alexandria Opera House “Sayed Darwish Theatre” on Thursday, 21 November 2024 at 8 p.m.
The program includes a selection of the most famous Arab songs performed by Heba Ismail, Doaa Ragab, Neama Esmat, Karim Zidan, Mohamed Hassan Gomaa, Islam Morsi, Ayman Mostafa, and violinist Haitham El Kateb.
The Alexandria Opera Ensemble for Music & Arab Singing was established in 2004 with the aim of reviving the heritage of Arab music and presenting various traditional forms and musical styles to lovers of oriental Arab music genres such as mawal, qasida, dawr, taqtuqa, and theatrical melodies. The Ensemble has presented many successful concerts and participated in numerous local and international festivals.
