Kawkab El Sharq Ensemble at Damanhour Opera House

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, hosts a concert by Kawkab El Sharq Ensemble, conducted by Maestro Mohamed Abdel Sattar, with the participation of qanun player Dr. Maha El Araby and artistic supervision by Dr. Atef Imam at Damanhour Opera House on Thursday, 5 December 2024 at 8 p.m.
The concert’s program includes selection of traditional Arab songs in addition to a solo performance on the qanun presented by Dr. Maha El Araby.
Kawkab El Sharq Ensemble is one of the distinguished music ensembles that includes a number of talented female musicians and singers. By featuring different genres of Arab music, the Ensemble aspires to highlight the role of women in the field of music and singing.
