“In Love With Umm Kulthum” at Arab Music Institute

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamia Zayed, holds a concert titled “In Love With Umm Kulthum” by the students of the Talents Development Center at the Arab Music Institute on Friday, 27 December 2024 at 8 p.m.
The req class, accompanied by the Arab Takhat, conducted by Ihab Abbas, features a variety of iconic works by Umm Kulthum.
The Talents Development Centre was established with the aim to develop artistic taste among younger generations and foster talented individuals in various fields of art. The center includes multiple departments such as piano, guitar, ballet, opera and Arab singing, flute, violin, oud, qanoun, oriental violin, ballet, and tap dance. Recently, classes for individuals with special abilities were added. The center regularly participates in various celebrations organized by the Cairo Opera House, along with holding concerts by its students on a regular basis.
