El Hadra Ensemble for Sufi Singing Celebrates El Mawled El Nabawy

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, continues to celebrate El Mawled El Nabawy with a concert by El Hadra Ensemble for Sufi Singing at the Open Air Theatre on Friday, 20 September 2024 at 8:30 p.m.
During the evening, a selection of famous religious chants and hymns praising Prophet Mohamed are featured by the members of the Ensemble.
El Hadra Ensemble for Sufi Singing was founded in 2015 with the aim of preserving and reviving the rich Sufi heritage of Egypt. Consisting of several Sufi devotees from various orders, the Ensemble performs a vast repertoire of powerful Sufi lyrics by Sufi masters such as Ibn Arabi and others. El Hadra presented numerous concerts at various cultural venues in Egypt gaining recognition and acclaiming huge success.
