Egyptian Folk Songs at Gomhouria Theatre

Under the baton of Maestro Ahmed Amer, the National Arab Music Ensemble holds a concert at Gomhouria Theatre on Sunday, 3 March 2024 at 8 p.m.
The concert’s program includes selections from the most famous folk songs that are an integral part of the Egyptian musical. Songs are featured by Sameh Mounir, Hend El Nahas, Yehia Abdel Halim, Ines Ezz Eldin and Ashraf Walid.
Founded in 1989, the National Arab Music Ensemble’s main objective is to revive the masterpieces of Arab Music heritage. Through collecting the classical musical heritage from different Arab nations and representing in an academic context, the Ensemble succeeded in establishing a unique position for itself in Arab Music scene.
