Cairo Opera House Hosts 12th Basmat Children’s Art Exhibition

The Cairo Opera House is hosting the 12th Basmat Children’s Art Exhibition at Ziad Bakir Gallery under the supervision of Hanaa Galal.
The event opens at 2 p.m. on Saturday, 13 July 2024 with the attendance of Dr. Adel Abdel Rahman, Deputy of the Egyptian Fine Arts Syndicate; Adel Benjamin, art critic; and Dr. Ola Youssef, Professor of Painting at Helwan University, and will run until Thursday, 18 July 2024.
The exhibition showcases approximately 120 paintings using pencil, pastel, and oil that express the Egyptian heritage and document some authentic traditional customs. These works are created by a group of talented children.
The aim of the exhibition is to breed a new generation that appreciates and practices art, empowering these young talents to become valuable members in society.
