Arab Opera Festival Honors the Cairo Opera House as Guest of Honor in Its First Edition

Dr. Alaa Abdel Salam, Chairman of the Cairo Opera House, received the Arab Opera Festival Honor Shield from Dr. Khaled bin Ibrahim Al-Sulaiti, Director General of the Cultural Village Foundation Katara. The festival, hosted by the Qatari capital Doha, selected the Cairo Opera House as the Guest of Honor for its first edition following the approval of the Ministry of Culture for the nomination, in recognition of its historical precedence as the first opera house established in the region, in appreciation of its enlightening mission, and in acknowledgment of its distinguished contributions to enriching the Arab cultural scene.
