Alexandria Opera Talents: A Night of Guitar, Flute, & Piano

In line with the Ministry of Culture’s endeavours to support and encourage promising talents, the Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, organizes a celebration for the students of the Talent Development Center at the Alexandria Opera House “ Sayed Darwish Theatre” under the supervision of Dr. Hoda Hosni on Friday, 3 May 2024 at 7:30 p.m.
The celebration will feature students of the Guitar Class, trained and conducted by Dr. Ahmed Abdel Rahman, performing a selection of classical works by great composers. The students of the Flute Class, trained and conducted by Dr. Dalia Atef Emam, present works by F. Philip Rameau, L. v. Beethoven, D. Shostakovich, W. A. Mozart and P. I. Tchaikovsky.
On the other hand, students of the Piano Class, trained by Adob Yasser Ezz El Din, play Minuet and Prelude No. 1 by Bach, Arabesque No. 2 by Burgmüller, The Swan by Camille Saint-Saëns, Tango by Gardel, Rondo (Turkish March) by Mozart, and Waltz from Sleeping Beauty by Tchaikovsky.
The Talents Development Center was established to enhance artistic taste and nurture talented individuals across various art domains. It encompasses multiple departments and regularly organizes events to encourage and acknowledge the efforts of students in their respective courses.
